Operations - Your Business Partner in Spain - is growing!

Olive Operations helps international companies that (want to) operate in Spain with all possible support services. This includes market studies, guidance in setting up a company, HR (employment contracts, salary packages, recruitment, salary studies), marketing, compliancy and office management. In a nutshell, we support our customers as a local partner with all the services they need. Many things we do ourselves, others we outsource, such as gestoria.

Due to the growing number of clients, we are in need of an extra, part-time colleague (10 to 15 hours a week). We prefer a cooperation on a freelance basis, but an employee contract is not impossible.

All-round Business Support Manager (part-time)

Responsibilities:

- Drafting, reviewing, and translating contracts, mainly Spanish/English, with the help of our specialist partner

- Follow up on changing legislation and ensure that our clients remain compliant

- Unravelling our clients' covenants and applying them to their situation

- Writing blog posts and social media posts on topics useful to our clients and in line with their professional situation

- Checking pay slips and managing related administration

- Managing the onboarding process of new employees for our clients

- Negotiating contracts with suppliers (office, support)

- Managing website texts in the CMS (WordPress)

- Assistance with recruitment actions

- General administrative support: online orders, organisation of (virtual) team building,

- Networking, detecting opportunities

- If in line with your profile: market research & sourcing

Profile:

You live and work in Valencia, Spain. You know the Spanish society and follow the news closely.

You have at least a bachelor degree and a broad experience in B2B. You have a large professional network.

You are familiar with the Spanish labour and company law or want to learn more about it. We are not looking for a legal expert, but interest and some basic knowledge are a requirement.

You speak English and Spanish fluently. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus.

You are flexible, customer-friendly and accurate. You love to solve problems and have strong communication skills. You like efficiency and you always follow up quickly.

The sooner you can start, the better!

Offer:

During the first weeks and months, we get to know each other well. During this period, you will mainly be working behind the scenes. If we then decide to go further together, more responsibility (account management, participation) and a larger hours package are possible. In time, you can even build up your own client portfolio.

You can start quickly and mainly work remotely.

Flexible working hours but daily availability.

Commission on bringing in new clients.
